Area A
This location is used primarily when
RWY 28 is in operation, however it can also be used as a general location
when RWY34 is in operation. Along this road the Rxxx there are a number
of unofficial locations where photos can be taken of landing and departing
aircraft.
From the Terminal exit departures and
turn right, walk about 1000m until you come to the main airport dublin
road, at this junction take a right and head towards dublin city approximate
800m, at the set of traffic light turn right again and this is the
road the runs along 28/10.
This area has no "official" locations
for spotting/photography but as you will see there is a lay by that
can accommodate about 25 - 30 cars.
Area B
Area B is used when RWy10 is in operation,
this location is not walk able from the main building as it is about
3 - 4 miles from the arrivals/departures lounges.
Area C
Area C is used when RWY16 is in operation,
again there is no "official" spots here.
